Mask manufacturing process is very simple, there is no technical problem, the key lies in the material aspect - many new mask manufacturers have never set foot in the mask industry, unable to distinguish spunbonded non-woven fabrics and melt blown non-woven fabrics, resulting in a lot of problems.

1. The difference between non-woven fabric and meltblown fabric
Non woven fabric: polypropylene granules are mostly used as raw materials.
Melt blown cloth: mainly polypropylene as raw material.
2. Difference of advantages between non woven fabric and melt blown fabric
Non woven fabric: moisture-proof, breathable, flexible, light, non combustion. It is easy to decompose, non-toxic and non irritating, rich in color, low in price, environmental protection and recyclable.
Melt blown cloth: fiber diameter can reach 1-5 microns. The superfine fiber with unique capillary structure can increase the number and surface area of fiber per unit area, so that the melt blown cloth has good filtration, shielding, heat insulation and oil absorption.
3. Difference of structure and application between non woven fabric and melt blown fabric
Non woven fabric: it has no warp and weft thread, and is formed by high temperature melt spinning. It is very convenient for cutting and sewing. It is light and soft, and can be treated with water resistance, hydrophilic, UV resistance, etc. it is widely used in sanitary materials, industry, agriculture, etc.
Melt blown cloth: it can be used in the fields of air, liquid filter material, isolation material, absorbing material, mask material, thermal material, oil absorbing material and wiping cloth. Meltblown cloth is the core material of mask.
Medical mask and N95 mask are composed of spunbond layer, melt blown layer and spunbond layer, which is called SMS structure for short. The most important part is the meltblown layer m (filter layer), commonly known as the heart of mask - meltblown cloth, which is mainly used to isolate droplets, particles, acid mist, microorganisms, etc.
